42e Festival Interceltique de Lorient (Dan Ar Braz - Green Lands)

Finalmente è stato pubblicato sul sito ufficiale il programma completo del 42° Festival Interceltique di Lorient. Dal 3 al 12 Agosto musica ed eventi artistici e culturali per tutti gli appassionati di musica tradizionale dei paesi celtici. Quest'anno ospite d'onore del festival sarà, dal Canada, la comunità francofona acadiana. Secondo un personalissimo parere, i pezzi pregiati del programma sono concentrati in due serate, quando si esibiranno il trio McGoldrick, McCusker and John Doyle e la Treacherous Orchestra (Venerdì 10, Espace Marine h 22), e Dan Ar Braz con la Bagad Kemper per la presentazione dell'attesissimo progetto «Celebration» (Sabato 11, Port de Pêche h 22). I biglietti d'ingresso per questi concerti sono anche parte di un pacchetto promozionale che comprende anche il concerto dell'ultima serata (Domenica 12, gruppi acadiani e bretoni). Il video ci riporta al classico "Green Lands", parte del progetto musicale di Dan Ar Braz "Héritage des Celtes", portato avanti con grande entusiasmo dal musicista bretone tra il 1994 e il 2000, anno del saluto proprio a Lorient davanti a 20000 spettatori.
